I recently wrote about Heather and Brianna's special friendship and shared a few pictures with you of what it was like when they saw each other a week ago.
The Conlin family brought Heather back home yesterday from a week at the beach.
Dave and I had Grilled Hamburgers, Brautz (who knows how to spell that?), Pinky Winky Jell-O Salad, Baked Beans and all the fixin's for a yummy lunch. Topped off with Fresh Watermelon for dessert.
We walked around the neighborhood so that they could see how it has built up over the years. Had a nice visit and then they were back on the road heading home to Illinois.
The inevitable goodbye had to come and so there I was with my camera!
This picture is not so bad but then the reality of letting go of this hug and saying goodbye hits Heather and she shows it on her face in this next picture....
I can't lie - it made me cry! These two girls love each other so much and have such a special friendship that it runs deep for them. Every girl needs a girl friend like this!
