Nursing my baby boy and dinner was a FLOP!

Well to start, I've had Josh home with me today. For the last 3 days he's been complaining of a stomach ache on and off along with sore legs and arms. When he got home from school yesterday he complained of a bad headache and sore everything! We put him to bed around 8pm as usual and by then it was clear he was not going to school today.

He's had very little to eat and I'm forcing fluids but no fever or any other helpful symptoms. So, for now we're going to continue to keep him hydrated and let him rest as much as possible. He and his dad played "Guess Who" when Dave got home and then he said he was going up to lay in his bed. Guess it will be a stay at home, restful kind of weekend. He's supposed to have a basketball game tomorrow but there's no way he'll be playing. Aunt Juju arrives on Monday so I'm working hard to get him well so he can enjoy her.

So, about the dinner that flopped. I put sauerkraut, carrots, potatoes and sausage in our wonderful, make life easy crock pot on Thurs and I'm left with a boat load of dinner that will never get eaten.

The thing is, my family loves this meal but I decided to use Turkey Sausage and that was the flop. The Turkey Sausage dried out - how in the world it did, I have no idea. The dinner was loaded with juices from the sauerkraut but it did.

I'll give you some free if you want to feed your family cause I have a ton left. Just kidding, you wouldn't want to bore your family with this FLOP!

Tomorrow night we have BLT's on the Weirich Menu - thank goodness no more dry Turkey Sausage!
