We got through that with flying colors. Dave feels like he did really well on it. The exam was easy and he was done before the designated finishing time. Phew! What a relief, now we just have to wait until January to find out his final score.
We drove another 6 hours to my parent's house to make a quick/helpful visit. My parents place sure does look different in the Fall/Winter months with no beautiful flowers that my mom has planted. Everything is so dreary and dormant looking.
I did my usual daily walk and I couldn't help but notice the vibrant fall colors on all the trees. Not to mention - the drive back to NC in the mountains was unbelievably beautiful! I wanted to just sit down in the middle of all those mountain trees and soak it all in. God's paint brush at it's finest!!!
While we were there Grammy Linda and Grandpa Ralph came to see us.
I bought a carrot cake to celebrate both my Dad's birthday which was Friday, Oct 17th and Grammy Linda's which was Monday, Oct 20th. We are never in Ohio during the month of October which means we don't get to celebrate with them so I thought it would be fun to do that.
We all took turns to say "cheese"
