THE WETTER THE BETTER VACATION!

Well, we're back from Florida. We got back Friday night and had an uneventful drive home. The traffic was light and we made it in 8 hours.

I want to share some of our pictures from our days in Orlando. But, let me first say - Orlando is hot in the summer...phew! I thought it was hot here but it is hot there! Thankfully, we didn't plan to hit any of the Disney Themeparks during the day only WATERparks! The wetter the better!

If you've ever been to Disney then you know that when the Disney photographers take your pictures you can only access them through Disney Photopass and you have to purchase them to use them at all. So, I've ordered the highlights but I do have some pictures on my camera that I can share in the meantime. Well, actually I have alot to share!

The pool that was closest to our condo had this waterslide in it. Josh had a ball on that!

This is our fish! Josh is one who loves to chill in the bathtub!

A keep away game was in session with Josh's football. Adults against the kids!

TYPHOON LAGOON

DISNEY WATERPARK...

This picture does NOT do this justice. This is a 6ft tidal wave that occurs every 90 seconds. The experienced swimmers can body surf on it. It's a pretty cool sight to see! Dave and Josh are about to be hit by it - they are on the left side of this picture - Dave has yellow swim trunks and Josh is to his left.

On the way out of the waterpark, the kids ran into Goofy! He's one of The Weirich's favorite Disney characters! Although our Goofy took this picture, he's not in it!

That night - dinner was at Chili's! Josh has a parrot on his shoulder and the girls have Dr. Suess type hats.

BLIZZARD BEACH WATERPARK...

We visited Typhoon Lagoon the morning after we arrived which was Saturday. Then, we got right back up on Sunday morning and had fun at Blizzard Beach. Then, we voted on which one was our favorite and planned on returning to that one on Wednesday. The kids all voted Blizzard Beach as their favorite but wanted to return Typhoon Lagoon just to swim with the sharks and stingray. So that's what we did.

I'm going to do a seperate posting on the swimming with the sharks cause this one has gotten pretty long. So, stay tuned and read my next post with pictures.
